About

Kia ora, I'm Aubrey, a momma, a runner, an outdoor woman, a massage therapist.

I take this opportunity to acknowledge Māori as tangata whenua and Treaty of Waitangi partners in Aotearoa New Zealand. I pay my respects to the mana whenua of the land on which we meet.

Originally from Canada, I came to Aotearoa about 10 years ago. Since arriving I have been fortunate to explore, grow and learn more about this beautiful country.

I earned a Certificate in Rongoa Māori Appreciation in 2017 and have recently graduated with my Diploma in Wellness and Relaxation Massage. I am now entering my journey to earn a degree in Physiotherapy.

Sundog Healing was created because I enjoy being a part of a person’s healing journey. Through my own adventures (outdoor guide, mom of 2 beautiful girls, a tree planter, runner…etc) I have been able to understand the body better, and through my education, how to help release the tension it can undergo.

My practice is about you and what you need. You can be having a stressful week, training for a sport, pregnant, annoyed with work, looking for some pamper ‘me’ time. Whatever it is together, we will sort out a treatment plan that fits you. And if I am unable to help, I have great contacts that I can refer you to.
